plans consist of poolside fun {sorry in advance to my fabulous peeps who get to sit next to the beached whale-ha!}, a southern fish fry, relaxation, & maybe a virgin margarita or two ;)

friday night:

double date, dinner & movie

{if you are pregnant or have ever been pregnant, this movie will be absolutely HILARIOUS to you}

saturday:

preparation for baby B completed.

{closets organized/house cleaned/many projects stamped 'done')

sunday:

a few odds & ends around the house, followed by dinner with my parents.

lots of fun planned for the next few days, however, we'd gladly halt said events if a certain little fella would like to make his debut.

and make these asap!

{cheesecake stuffed strawberries}

SUPER easy to put together, taste ah-mazing!

key players:

1 lb strawberries

8 oz cream cheese, softened

4 tbsp powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

graham cracker crumbs

the how-to:

rinse strawberries.

with a paring knife, cut off top & hollow out center.

prep all strawberries & set aside.

in a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, & vanilla extract.

add mixture to a ziploc bag, cut off a corner...instant piping bag!

fill strawberries with mixture.

dip top in graham cracker crumbs.

serve!

Things I've learned this week...

-90 degree weather makes for an ill pregnant lady.

-my parents are really smart people.

{it's a statement I could not say out loud until I was about 22, but since then i can yell it from the mountain tops.}

-random texts from my girlfriends make me happy.
the subjects range from politics to traffic to gossip, but nevertheless, make me chuckle every time.

-God is great, beer is good, & people are crazy.

i cannot figure out why some people choose to make life difficult, nor, can i figure out why i let it get under my skin?!

-getting ready for B has been so much fun!

this past week we finished his little room & it was like the icing on the cake...everything is ready for his arrival, now it's just the hurry-up-and-wait time period.

the nursery is officially complete, as of last night.
