wknd plans...

Allow me to set the tone for this wknd...

...looking forward to spending some quality time with my handsome hubs, getting my flowers planted & side porch ready for spring/summer {I've looked forward to said task for months!}, grilling out, etc...all while taking it easy & enjoying this beautiful time of year.

Thursday after work we hit the road & headed to Cola to meet our new nephew!

Baker is absolutely PRECIOUS & already SO loved :)

next time we are @ the hospital it's for our little man's arrival, say what?! ekkkk!

Friday afternoon we hit the road, again, to get lakeside.

Saturday, Chad + Jess & Kelly + Kevin joined us for some fun in the sun!

boat rides + relaxation + laughter = recharged everyone's batteries.

doctor's appointment tomorrow, always excited about getting a chance to see our little fella!

no complaints right now other than B likes to nestle up under my ribs, aka, very hard to breath.

cravings:

cereal...nightly ritual around 9ish

{note: in all of my years I have NEVER been a cereal eater, or any breakfast foods at that, but this baby has me knee deep in that department}

water or ginger ale with LOTS of crushed ice

fruit...specifically not citrus, more of the berry variety.

Yesterday...

Yesterday was my sweet hubs 28th birthday :)

{I was out of the office all day, thus, a day late shout-out}

...those green eyes make my heart skip a beat.

We had our fun friends & family over to do a little celebratin'...perfect weather + a low country boil = a great time!

...it seems like we are set on 'repeat' every wknd where we blink & before we know it, it's Sunday evening!

I will say with a HUGE smile on my face that our renovation zone is starting to resemble organized chaos more than an area that an atomic bomb just imploded.

and they were right.

Nothing sounds appetizing.

Fatigue like whoa.

bed by 8:30-9:00.

Cold-like symptoms.

Wknd recap & a shout out

This wknd was an absolute whirlwind but SO productive!

Friday night:

Me & hubs hosted dinner for Kel + Kevin followed by much needed relaxation/channel flipping.

Saturday:

Breakfast date then the work began...Jake = renovation zone, me = cleaned the house/laundry/yard work

Cooked a yummy dinner in our pj's & were asleep by no later than 9:00; seriously, when did we become old?!

Sunday:

More work around the house, showered up, then headed to Babies-R-Us to do returns & ordered a few things, yay!

Dinner with Chad & Jess.

A great wknd indeed!
