St. Thomas

Honeymoon = the best week ever.

MONDAY

Flew from Charlotte to ALT, ALT to St. Thomas  :)

When you step off the plane and head to baggage claim and the first thing you see is a bar, you know you are in good hands. Cheers!

Side note-Carib beer is the bomb diggity.

View from our room @ the Ritz.

Heading to Red Hook for dinner & drinks...nightly ritual that lead to new friends & many memories made.

View of the marina from ITP...yes, that is the way the sky looked most the days that we were there. Here's the thing, a rainy day in the islands beats a sunny day sitting at the office ANY DAY.

This is St. Thomas's take on taxi's.
Nothing makes you feel safer than traveling at 50 miles an hour, through the mountains than an open air cattle car.

TUESDAY

One might glance at JWB swimming in the ocean and think this is an innocent picture...let me explain: moments after taking this shot, a HUGE stingray decided to play hide & seek with hubs. I did not find the humor.

My personal bartender.

Drink of the week: whiskey sours

Iguanas were EVERYWHERE on St. Thomas...I have to admit, they were pretty cool!

WEDNESDAY

On day three, we did a full day of island hopping on an aweseome speed boat.

First stop-St. John

From St. John to Virgin Gorda this girl got VERY sea sick...as my BFF Kel would put it-I thought I was going to YAMMY.

Feeling better...snorkeling time! We saw some of the most beautiful fish we've ever seen!

Lunch on Marina Cay.

The last destination of our trip was at Jost Van Dyke...GORGEOUS GORGEOUS GORGEOUS water + Soggy Dollar bar = an afternoon I will never forget.

FRIDAY (our last day, tear)

We decided to start off our day with some champagne :)

Rainy day = perfect excuse to head to Yacht Haven for some shopping!
After trying on jewelry with price tags that I'd rather not even think about again, we both needed a drink...

Fat Turtle

I have no idea what the name is of this bar but they had swings for chairs, too cool!

Duffy's Love Shack

Molly Malones...aka locals hangout that was a prime people watching spot.

We had an amazinggg time & cannot wait to plan a trip back with our peeps!

Happy Friday everyone, xo.
